After listening to Judge Jeanine Pirro in her Opening Statement on her Fox News program, Justice, last night, and praying with my wife this afternoon, the Lord gave me a word – that our legally and duly elected president is being abused by both the Left – the Democrats and Socialists – who can’t seem to get over the fact that their horse lost … and the Right – the Republicans, and more accurately, the establishment Republicans, who will do anything to hold onto their seats of power.
It’s us, who voted for this man, many of us Christians, who saw in him, a man who would help us take our country back from those who seek to keep their power – the swamp – most of whom are in Congress, the Senate, and holdovers from the prior administration.
Our system of government states that our government operates on the consent of the governed. This means that those who represent us in government, are there because we, the people, consented to they’re being there.
Our nation’s founders didn’t envision that service to the country be a career – they envisioned that someone elected, would serve their term, then go back to their jobs and careers, and bring in fresh thinking, and new blood.
Hey, Donald Trump didn’t need this job – nor does he need your abuse! Like the biblical Nehemiah, he could have been very comfortable in his position and stature. Also like Nehemiah – he will be victorious over his enemies. Nehemiah was victorious over Sanballat, Tobiah and Geshem – President Trump will reign victorious over the Washington swamp.
What God puts in place, he will not allow to fail! Need I remind you Christians again of Romans 13? Here it is again, just to refresh your memories:
Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God. Therefore whoever resists the authorities resists what God has appointed, and those who resist will incur judgment. (Romans 13:1-2 ESV)
The meaning of this is simple:
- God put him there, because God orders all things and puts into power who He wants.
- If you resist who God has appointed – you will incur divine judgement!
Is that what you want for yourselves? I would hope not!
So, instead of abusing our president – pray for our president! Pray for God to give him divine wisdom to deal effectively with the problems of our nation, and to give him divine patience to deal with the swamp critters who will continue to abuse him.
Also – a word of encouragement via Twitter to @realDonaldTrump would, I’m sure, be appreciated. Let him know that you’re praying for him and his family – and his administration.
