It is the eve of the death and burial of our Messiah, based on the biblical evidence of John, chapter 19, and what do I see? So-called Christians, who hate our president, complaining that they would rather have a “sentence” – than have to submit to the God-given leader (based on Romans 13:1-5) we have now.
They would rather be in prison, than have to deal with the fact that Donald Trump is our president! To you people, let me tell you something from personal experience – I’ve been to prison, I served a year in prison – you don’t want to be in prison!
You would rather have someone tell you when you have to wake up, go to sleep, go to the bathroom, to go outside, come in – regiment your entire existence – than deal with what God has instituted!
Do you not read your Bible?
Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God. Therefore whoever resists the authorities resists what God has appointed, and those who resist will incur judgment. (Romans 13:1-2)
Note what Paul writes in verse 2 – Therefore whoever resists the authorities resists what God has appointed, and those who resist will incur judgment. Resist our duly elected president, the leader that God instituted, you will incur judgement – it’s as simple as that!
Yes, if Donald Trump was doing anything that was against God’s Word, then we should resist him, but he’s not done anything that I can see, that would put him against God’s Word.
I did see that in our previous president – Barack Hussein Obama – celebrating what God calls abhorrent – homosexuality, trans-“whatever-ism”, abortion – just to name a few. For that, yes, I resisted him.
In our current president, I see a man who fears God, who abhors evil, and will be decisive when it comes to justice. That airstrike in Syria is but one example of that.
We all have a past, I have one – you have one too, so does Donald Trump. If you’re a born-again Christian, you are a new creation!
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation, The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation… (2 Corinthians 5:17-18)
He claims to be born again, and his fruit bears that out – so I have no reason – or right – to question that. Jesus said in Luke 6 …
“For no good tree bears bad fruit, nor again does a bad tree bear good fruit, for each tree is known by its own fruit. For figs are not gathered from thornbushes, nor are grapes picked from a bramble bush. The good person out of the good treasure of his heart produces good, and the evil person out of his evil treasure produces evil, for out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.” (Luke 6:43-45)
So, what do you do? You stop complaining and saying stupid stuff – and start being a Christian!
That means you start sharing your faith! Jesus crucified as the final Passover Lamb, for the redemption of our sins past, present and future.
Your kvetching – your complaining – makes you a lousy witness! It makes Christ look bad. Your job on this earth is to plant seeds to win souls for Christ – not to throw Him under the bus!
“But I’m not a pastor,” you say – not everyone is called to pastor, but everyone is called to minister – to share their faith – and that means you! Stop with the excuses. God didn’t take Moses’ excuses, He sure ain’t taking yours!
Churches today – are dying – why? Because we’ve taken God out of everything in our lives! Out of our schools, out of the town square. You can teach Allah and Mohammed all you want, but mention the name of Jesus – and you’re cut off!
Regardless of Rick Warren and Oprah says – Allah is not the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob – He’s the god of Ishmael and his descendants! And Mohammed is a child molester and spousal abuser who professed and promoted this garbage when he wrote the satanically-inspired Qu’ran!
So Christians – we need to start doing out jobs – we need to start shouting the name of Jesus from the rooftops! To teach the meaning of the cross, Christ crucified, and of salvation. To not do so, is to deny Christ, and Jesus had a strong warning about that …
So everyone who acknowledges me before men, I also will acknowledge before my Father who is in heaven, but whoever denies me before men, I also will deny before my Father who is in heaven. (Matthew 10:32-33)
You don’t want Christ denying you before God – so don’t deny Christ before men!
This means that you abhor and fight homosexuality! You teach against it, and help those mired in it – out of it in a loving way!
This means that you abhor – and fight – the senseless killing of the unborn – including in cases of rape and incest – and help those who may be considering such a move, or those who have had one, to know Christ, in a loving way.
This means you abhor, and fight against – any teaching other than the Gospel of Jesus Christ – his death, burial and resurrection, and the salvation He offers! Any teaching that does not lead to this result – is false teaching!
So – Get to Work, Christian – Stop Kvetching and Start Evangelizing!
