Deceit – Webster’s defines it as follows:
1: the act of causing someone to accept as true or valid what is false or invalid : the act or practice of deceiving : DECEPTION
2: an attempt or device to deceive : TRICK
3: the quality of being dishonest or misleading : the quality of being deceitful : DECEITFULNESS
The Bible has a lot to say about Deceit and Deceitfulness – and in the last days, before the Rapture of the Church, it’ll be all over the place.
Now the Spirit expressly says that in later times some will depart from the faith by devoting themselves to deceitful spirits and teachings of demons, through the insincerity of liars whose consciences are seared, who forbid marriage and require abstinence from foods that God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth. For everything created by God is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving, for it is made holy by the word of God and prayer. (1 Timothy 4:1-5)
Has the Apostle Paul nailed it? Yep, he sure has!
Prophecy has come to pass people:
We have so-called clergy who will preach anything but the Gospel of Jesus Christ and Him crucified — they’d rather be rich and famous by preaching a “tickle behind the ears” feel good message of “your best life now,”
Not to discount real healings, but there are some who do a dog and pony show of “miraculous healings” while whipping their jacket and yelling “fire!” Or people falling down on the floor, or people dancing around clucking like chickens, or some idiotic thing like that.
And people are following this schtick – in droves.
If you’re a Methodist – you better be on the lookout for the Progressive United Methodists, who recently announced a new denomination: Liberation Methodist Connexion. Lakewood Church in Houston holds 16,800 people – with 52,000 on average attending each and every week – all to hear Joel Osteen tell them that they can have their best life now. I have never heard the man make an altar call, or talk about the crucifixion of Jesus for our sins – and how we’re to be saved. No, He fleeces his flock to the tune of about US$12,000,000 a week between offerings and online donations. It’s madness – he’s leading his flock straight to the pit of Hell.
Andy Stanley is another one – his father Charles, a wonderful and Godly man, must be so disappointed in this boy – leading a megachurch in Atlanta who has discounted the deity of Christ at every turn, rejecting longstanding doctrine from the Bible.
Kenneth Copeland is preaching a heretical gospel, and I swear, every time he opens his mouth, he looks like a demon incarnate. Anyone who can fleece his flock to the tune of US$64,000,000 to buy a new private jet, so that he doesn’t have to “be trapped in a tube with demons,” has got to be from the pit of Hell.
And there are so many others – too numerous to name.
We have an election being stolen right before our very eyes, through the use of deceitful methods of stuffing the vote count, using ill-programmed voting machines, and just plain outright lies.
The media is complicit by not covering it – their refusal to even acknowledge that its going on is lying to the people, and therefore, deceit.
The BIG “D” – Deceit, it’s worse than the BIG “C” – Cancer. Cancer can kill you – Deceit, on the other hand, can kill you and send you straight to Hell – which is where many of our politicians and media types will be spending eternity, if they don’t repent and accept Christ as their savior.
Psalm 43:1 says what a lot of true believers in Christ are saying today:
Vindicate me, O God, and defend my cause
against an ungodly people,
from the deceitful and unjust man
deliver me!
We are but one decision from installing a a bunch of heathens in government, and one runoff election away in Georgia from losing the senate – and all of government completely.
If the Supreme Court gets packed – churches will close, religious liberty for Christians will be pushed aside and the persecution will begin in earnest.
I truly believe, with all my heart, that God’s fed up, and is setting us up for the mother of all judgments – The Tribulation. The good news is that if you’re a true believer in Christ, you’ll be “outta here”.
Just as it was in the days of Noah, so will it be in the days of the Son of Man. They were eating and drinking and marrying and being given in marriage, until the day when Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all. Likewise, just as it was in the days of Lot—they were eating and drinking, buying and selling, planting and building, but on the day when Lot went out from Sodom, fire and sulfur rained from heaven and destroyed them all— so will it be on the day when the Son of Man is revealed. (Luke 17:26-30)
No, God’s not going to flood the earth again – He made a promise to never do that again, but He can judge in other ways.
Like bringing on a man who will rule all nations – The Antichrist – who will initially come as an angel of peace and light – but actually come in Deceit … there’s that word again.
He’ll bring peace to the Middle East, peace and prosperity will abound – people will love this man – but after three and a half years, his true colors appear. He’ll demand worship, and you’ll be required to take the Mark of the Beast on your forehead or right hand.
A Digital ID? A Microchip? Who knows. But just like the face mask of today, you won’t be able to buy or sell anything without it.
We’re being “conditioned” for this – we’re being conditioned to submit to governmental authority without question.
By the time the Mark of the Beast is distributed, only the most die-hard followers of Christ, who accepted Christ after the Rapture – will resist. Most will “think with their stomachs” and take the mark, so they can eat, drink and be merry – and just “get along”.
Why do you think they want to take your guns? So there will be no “second 1776 resistance” – Unconditional submission to the government is their only goal. Face it, they have no chance against 76,000,000 patriots with over 400,000,000 guns and rounds of ammo – this stuff needs to be taken by force.
Think I’m off my rocker? Look around you! Take a hard and honest look!

The world is embracing what is an abomination to God.
I’m not “setting dates” – but like the late Dr. Jack Van Impe, I do believe that the Rapture is imminent – that it will happen in this generation.
