Alright, I was a big proponent of Dallas Jenkins, the director of the popular streaming series “The Chosen”.
But I’ve been noticing that the original “give it away free” format had been slowly turning into a huge business enterprise, with a rumors of lot of highly – and I mean very highly – compensated people, lengthy production schedules lasting years at a time for each “season” and tons of fund raising – so I decided to do a little digging.
A couple of years ago, we saw that The Chosen was using the back lot of an LDS (Mormon) owned production company, and there were rumblings about the coziness between Jenkins and the LDS church – and we we’re told “nothing to see here”.
Or was there?
Well now, I have to beg to differ.
Todd Friel and his VC production, Wretched Radio, has been sounding the alarm over Jenkins and The Chosen for years, and for years, I dismissed him as another evangelical legalist on the topic.
Lately however, he’s seems to be making sense. I truly believe the Holy Spirit might be telling me something … so now when Todd Friel speaks, I’m like that old Ef Hutton commercial, I listen… And you should too.
Watch the video below and learn children.
There will be more to come, I feel the Holy Spirit moving and speaking, and if so – I’ll speak my mind and God’s Word… And if not, I’ll be the last one to put words in God’s mouth.
