- Parents – you’ve failed
- Pastors and Churches – you’ve failed in many respects
- We as a people of the United States of America – have failed
I’m going to come down hard on a lot of people, and step on a few toes – I don’t care. It’s about time that someone brought the Word of the Lord to the masses, and I feel strongly that I have been given these words.
Last night, as I was trying to fall asleep – not so successfully, I might add – there was a commercial for a new drug called Descovy. It’s a drug for gay men so that they continue to sodomize each other without the threat of HIV/AIDS. It’s a preventative. How do I know it’s only for gay men? Because the disclaimer was explicit – although you have to be alert enough to hear it: “not for use by persons assigned female at birth” – transgender code for “not for women”. The commercial was full of men holding hands and doing everything but getting intimate. It sickened me as a man of God.
Do biblically married couples – male to female – have HIV/AIDS? Unless its been contracted through a blood transfusion, or one of them has been committing adultery with an infected person – the answer is a resounding No. That’s because sex between a man and a woman, in the bonds of holy matrimony – is sacred and blessed by God.
Sex between two men is not natural – God considers it an abomination – and specifically calls it out in many areas of the Bible, starting with the eighteenth chapter of Leviticus, which is all about sexual behavior, Verse 22:
Hebrew: וְאֶ֨ת־זָכָ֔ר לֹ֥א תִשְׁכַּ֖ב מִשְׁכְּבֵ֣י אִשָּׁ֑ה תֹּועֵבָ֖ה הִֽוא׃
English Direct Translation: With a male not you shall lie with a woman is an abomination it is.
In other words – in English: You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination.
You just don’t do it. And you don’t come up with a drug to prevent the consequences of this behavior. You stop the behavior!
I’ve told this story a number of times now – I know of a church near here where the pastor permits an openly gay man to serve as an usher. That would never happen in my church – why? Because that lets Satan in the door – and once he’s in the door, sin can permeate throughout the congregation, right to the pastor and elders themselves.
There’s another where the pastor’s wife – and girlfriend – sit on the front pew! How is the wife allowing this? How are the elders putting up with it? That’s called adultery, a direct violation of scripture and must be dealt with through repentance and counsel – or church discipline, including termination if necessary.
Children are being sexually and physically abused in their formative years by parents for their pleasure, gratification – or to release some pent up hostility. Whatever the reason, it’s wrong!
Children and women are being trafficked for sex and slavery – even today. Sex traffickers are being arrested by the tens and hundreds every day.
And now, we have this poor child in Texas, and other children just like him, who has a parent who wants to shove “gender transitioning and assignment” down the throat of a child. This boy was born a boy, wants to be a boy, but mom wanted a girl, and has now received court permission to start the process, and forcing the father – who fought this tooth and nail – to pay the expense of US$5,000.00 per month.
As I wrote in my last post, a lot of this started with the Baby Boomer generation – entitled brats who thought they knew better. Dr. Benjamin Spock said not to spank the child – and now we have a new generation of spoiled brats who don’t know what it is to fail and lose, because their “participation trophy” said that they were winners.
Solomon wrote in Proverbs, “Whoever spares the rod hates his son, but he who loves him is diligent to discipline him.” (13:24) – this means we’re to discipline our kids when they do wrong, so that they know the difference between right and wrong later.
Sometimes, we let kids fail after repeated attempts to correct behavior. They have to learn from their mistakes – but “helicopter parents” today, who hover over their little brats, won’t let them learn. Kids need to learn that there are consequences for their actions.
Ever since the Supreme Court legalized the murdering of unborn children – and the legislature’s continued attempts to make the act more permissible, over 63,000,000 = – that’s sixty three million lives have been snuffed out by government fiat, due to human failure – mostly, 92.7% by unprotected sex between unmarried partners, resulting in unwanted pregnancies.
Remember when we spoke of homosexuality earlier? Well, one verse before this talks about sacrificing your children before Molech:
Hebrew: וּמִֽזַּרְעֲךָ֥ לֹא־תִתֵּ֖ן לְהַעֲבִ֣יר לַמֹּ֑לֶךְ וְלֹ֧א תְחַלֵּ֛ל אֶת־שֵׁ֥ם אֱלֹהֶ֖יךָ אֲנִ֥י יְהוָֽה׃
Translation: And you shall not let any of your seed pass through the fire to Molech neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God I am YAHVEH.
“Your seed” is your children. God gave you the responsibility to marry, and procreate – to multiply your generations. He wants you to raise them up in the Lord – not dispose of them like last night’s unwanted dinner!
In Matthew 18, Mark 9, and Luke 17, the Bible is clear: Hurt a child in any way, or cause that child to sin – and this includes killing it in utero – it would be better that a great millstone were hung around the neck of that person, and that they were tossed into the sea.
God ain’t playing! Clergy and volunteers sexually abusing children – and each other; parents sexually, physically and mentally abusing their children – God’s gonna have His way, and it ain’t gonna be pretty!
I’ve said it before, and there are pastors who think that I’m off base here – but I truly believe that God has removed his hand from this nation – and rightfully so. We, as a nation, used to hold God in the highest regard – and now, God’s relegated to the back burner, or even worse, tossed out with last night’s garbage.
And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a debased mind to do what ought not to be done. They were filled with all manner of unrighteousness, evil, covetousness, malice. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, maliciousness. They are gossips, slanderers, haters of God, insolent, haughty, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, foolish, faithless, heartless, ruthless. Though they know God’s righteous decree that those who practice such things deserve to die, they not only do them but give approval to those who practice them. (Romans 1:28-32)
What’s a “debased” (or in some translations, “depraved”) mind? Well, in this case, people just gave up on God, and He gave up on the people.
Think of it this way, it is God’s function to judge, but people have usurped that prerogative in order to sit in judgment on him and dismiss him from their lives.
Look at that list of sins! They’re all around us today – and many of them are prominent in our government!
That last verse – verse 32: Though they know God’s righteous decree that those who practice such things deserve to die, they not only do them but give approval to those who practice them – – we see this in society today! People are given permission to act in this way! Many of our politicians are doing it!
Sexual perversion? Fornication? Adultery? All approved by our leaders – because many of them are doing it! We had a man running for president in the Democrat primary who is a sodomite – and has married, and sleeps with – another man! God put that down, didn’t He?
Has God turned His back on us? He sure has a reason to!
So yes, we as a nation, have not fulfilled God’s purpose for us. God has blessed this nation above all others in the world. We are more prosperous than any other nation, but China is nipping at our heels. We are the most generous nation by far when it comes to natural and man made disasters all over the world – but we can’t care for our own citizens?
We have turned our back on God – and He’s turning His back on us. We can pray 2 Chronicles 7:14 until we’re blue in the face, but until this nation repents – in a big way, and stops sacrificing children to Molech through abortion, and stops sanctioning sin through legislation and judicial activism, and until the church repents for its failures – a tall order all, God’s just plain sick of it – He’s had it, and isn’t putting up with any more!
Pastors, I’ve said it before, and I’m saying it again – you’re one and only job is to shepherd your flock, and plant seeds to bring the unsaved to Christ. Your job isn’t to be a famous online, radio or television preacher – your job is to preach the gospel. That’s it – just preach the gospel.
Elders, your job is to support and be a spiritual support to your pastor. If you see him in error, it’s your job to straighten him out. You’re to be there for counsel, because the pastor can’t do it alone. And you too, are to preach the gospel when called upon.
To the Body of Christ, you are not pastors – but you are all ministers. When you became saved, you enlisted in God’s army – and “you’re in the army now”. You will be called upon to fight the enemy, and share God’s word with the lost. Many will reject you, and you may be persecuted, Paul writes in 2 Timothy 3:12, “Indeed, all who desire to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted”. It comes with the territory, get used to it.
Like it or not, you did sign up for this!
If we don’t start evangelizing now – I’m afraid of what God has in store for this nation, and the world. I also feel that the Rapture could be just around the corner, and that we could be out of here and won’t have to witness the carnage to come. It’s just that we wouldn’t want to see anyone left behind, right?
Would you not throw a drowning man a life preserver? Well, we need to be throwing the gospel out to a drowning people – those who are lost, who need salvation.
If we don’t do it, who will?
Satan’s just chompin’ at the bit to get these people – it’s up to us to throw that life preserver and keep them from Satan’s grip.
Time to get to work soldier! Time to save what’s left of this nation!
