My heart is very heavy this morning.
My mood is sour.
I’m snapping at everyone. I’m angry – but at what, and for what?
Then the Lord gives me Ephesians 4:26-27 – “Be angry, and do not sin”: do not let the sun go down on your wrath, nor give place to the devil. (NKJV)
Why Lord? What did Jeannie do? Absolutely nothing! I’m just in one sour mood – I woke up this way.
Frustration with health issues, frustration with what’s happening in this state, nation and the world in general, anger at our government – we just got our heating oil bill from a recent fill – over five hundred dollars – almost double what it normally is – and to fill the gas tank… twenty seven dollars more than we used to pay!
Yeah, I’m pissed! On one hand, I know that the Lord provides for His children, and on the other hand, He’s judging this nation by virtue of putting this Rodeo Clown and the other clowns into office, who don’t know their posteriors from a hole in the ground.
It’s Satan. He knew darned well that I needed to write this morning, and he was going to try to prevent me from doing it. He’s going to push my buttons and tick me off so much as to keep me from this keyboard. He’s going to try to scramble my thoughts as to bring on a full-fledged seizure – but I have a weapon that is keeping Satan at bay – It’s called prayer.
2 Corinthians, chapter 10 delves into spiritual warfare in detail – and that’s what we’re battling here, a spiritual war.
Verses 3-6 summarize it rather succinctly:
For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled. (NKJV)
Our problems and issues are carnal.
The garbage with government and the election are carnal – they’re caused by people living in the flesh – not the Spirit.
Problems with finances cannot necessarily be solved under our own power. We need to trust in the Provider of our finances, instead of placing our faith in our own power.
God doesn’t want us to trust Him – He requires us to trust Him – fully – for our victories in life. Throughout the Bible, we’re instructed – cautioned really – to not place our trust in the “strength of horses, other men or our own abilities.
An example would be King David – his decision to take a census in the twenty first chapter of 1 Chronicles was his failure to keep his trust fully in the Lord. His purpose in counting the people is to find out how many men there were who were able to fight in the military. His failure to trust in God, and God alone, cost him 70,000 men – who died due to a plague brought on by David’s disobedience.
This nation used to trust in God – it was founded on Judeo-Christian principles, and it prospered. He’s now been relegated to second-class citizen, or rejected altogether – and He’s not having any of it. If it’s godlessness we want – it’s godlessness we’ve got.
We can fight this with all our might, we can kvetch and complain, we can pray for national repentance, but if the nation isn’t going to repent, which it isn’t – then we, as a nation, are going to get what we asked for.
If we’re going to fight – it needs to be done spiritually.
Yes, we’re in a war, but our weapons are not carnal – they’re spiritual. Just as Satan is causing our problems nationally, locally and in our own homes through attacks from the spirit realm – our response needs to be in the spirit realm.
If we could open a zipper in the sky and look at the spirit realm, we would see the ugliness of the war that is being waged against us – and ugly it is!
Look at our neighbor to the north – Canada – a bastion of liberalism. Now they’re sending armed police into churches – during services – to enforce mandates to wear face diapers and other restrictions, on a disease with a 99.7% survival rate. It’s conditioning of the populace for 100% obedience. The Trudeau government will not be disobeyed – and they’re falling for it! Thank God for that pastor who stood up to the police and the health service officials, and ordered them out of the church.
To the police and government officials, as Bugs Bunny used to say, “of course, this means war” – and I’m sure that this pastor will have to endure further persecution.
It’s happening here to an extent. We have state sovereignty, and states like Texas and Florida aren’t having any more of it – but it won’t be long before our federal government tosses our constitution aside and rescinds our rights. Biden himself said that “no amendment that is absolute” when it came to our second amendment right to bear arms – what’s to think that they wouldn’t try the same thing with out first amendment rights of freedom of speech, assembly and religion – or any of the other rights spelled out in Bill of Rights (Amendments 1-10 of our constitution).
Our rights are conveyed by God – not by a federal government – and it’s Satan, from the spiritual realm, working to chip these away. Do you think for one minute that Satan wasn’t behind the stolen election?
Remember one thing though – Satan can’t do anything unless God permits him to do it. Therefore, God permitted this election to be stolen – and nothing in the carnal realm – lawsuits, protests, investigations – were able to change that. Yes, the wrongdoing may be exposed in full – what Satan means for evil, God uses for good.
God permitted Satan to strip Job of everything – and I mean everything – his wealth, his family and his health, to the point where his wife said, “just curse God and die already!” Satan had to ask God’s permission to do this, Satan can’t just do what he wants to – God must permit it.
The first chapter of Romans, starting in verse 18 goes into detail on how God punishes disobedience and unrighteousness. We, as a nation, are well on our way down this path. Again, this is from the spirit realm, but it translates into the physical. We need to fight, yes – but not with lawsuits and protests, but from the spirit realm.
If we’re going to speak out – we need to bring the Word of God to city halls, state capitols and Washington DC. We need to be preaching like there’s no tomorrow about the sin being wreaked over this nation, and the impending judgment coming. We need to be like Jeremiah, Isaiah and Ezekiel – telling our so-called “leaders” – that they’re leading us down the path of destruction.
The prophets didn’t have an easy time of it either – and neither will we. Persecution will abound. One of those churches in Canada who defied their government orders is now blockaded with the pastor and all worshippers barred from entering.
Los Angeles County tried that with John MacArthur’s church in California. John MacArthur and the Elders prayerfully stood up for the church against the county – and God blessed that.
Persecution will come – count on it. You can take that to the bank.
Are you willing to stand up to that persecution? Another thing you can count on – most people who call themselves Christians, won’t. When it comes to comfort versus pain – most will go with comfort. When it comes to hunger versus a full belly – most will go for the full belly.
“Proof of Vaccination” or “Vaccination Passports” are now being starting to come into vogue. These are designed to separate those who will obey, and those that won’t. It’s specifically designed to condition the populace to obey orders unconditionally.
A campground in Cooperstown, NY is now requiring that everyone, including visitors, age 12 and up have the COVID vaccine, and that everyone under 12 have proof of all other inoculations. This campground is owned by Major League Baseball (MLB), and will soon find out that their decision is unconstitutional and a violation of the HIPAA (medical privacy) laws – but of course, with Biden stating that “no amendment is absolute” – they’ve got something up their sleeve.
Again, we fight in the spiritual. Get ready for persecution. I’m getting it now – from my own people! If you’d rather fight carnally – go ahead. You’ll be beating your head against the wall.
Every lawyer who has filed lawsuits for election integrity – has either lost on grounds, or has been tossed or withdrawn – why? Because God allowed it. God has allowed this Rodeo Clown to sit in the oval office – and Willie Brown’s mistress to sit in the VP’s office – to execute judgment on this nation, and to show it just how depraved it has become!
Mike Lindell, God love him, may come out with irrefutable proof that the election was stolen – and it was – but it was God’s hand that allowed it, to put the Rodeo Clown and his ilk in power – to execute judgment on this nation. It will make no difference in this election. I hope and pray that it wakes people up to the corruption of the deep seated sin in this government to cause a change, and repentance.
Until then, if that happens, get ready for persecution. It’s gonna happen, whether you like it or not. When you accepted Christ as your savior, you enlisted in His spiritual army. As such, as a soldier in this army, you fight spiritual battles, and help others to fight them too.
Remember the hymn Onward Christian Soldiers? The lyrics start like this:
Onward, Christian soldiers,
Marching as to war,
With the cross of Jesus,
Going on before!
Are you ready to march into battle for Jesus? Think about that, because if there’s any question, then you had better question your salvation. As I said earlier – when you said “yes” to Jesus, you enlisted in His army.
It won’t be easy, nor will it be pretty.
