A Warning To The Western Church

To the Western church;

You’ve become fat, dumb and happy, and you’re taking your people with you.

I’m not talking about EVERY church, but many churches, from the mega-sized, to the smallest home gatherings, have so diluted the Gospel, that salvation has become something so passé, that it means nothing – that people are destined for Hell.

First off, just “asking Jesus into your heart” means nothing! Without true repentance, the laying down of the sin of the past, the true desire to turn from sinful ways – and absolute belief that Jesus died and paid the price for those sins, that He arose again on the third day, sits at the right hand of the Father, and that He’s coming again to rule and reign on this earth – all of this is required for salvation.

“Calling on the name of the Lord” (Romans 10:13) means exactly that, but is taken out of context. To put context into it, start in verse 8:

But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith that we proclaim); because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. For the Scripture says, “Everyone who believes in him will not be put to shame.” For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, bestowing his riches on all who call on him. For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

“Believe “ – you must truly believe. God knows when you’re just playing, or giving “lip service” for some “fire insurance from Hell”. The premium for this fire insurance is to fully turning your life over to Jesus Christ, including a full confession and repentance for your sin, and to allow God complete and free reign of your life.

Does this mean you have to name every past sin? Of course not! It does mean that you acknowledge yourself a sinner with no hope without the blood of Christ on that tree over 2,000 years ago at Calvary.

But churches today are preaching a different gospel. They’re preaching a more tolerant gospel of love, than the one Jesus gave. They preach that we love everyone, regardless of what they’re steeped into.

And this is where we diverge. Although not found in scripture in words, “Love the sinner, hate the sin” is, in fact biblical. We are to pray for repentance and the salvation of everyone – that’s loving them straight into eternal life with Christ.

That’s true love of the sinner. We invite them into our churches in the hope that they find salvation in Christ. We don’t exclude them because they’re sinners…guess what, so are you.

My friend, when it comes to other’s sin, I point you to 1 Corinthians 6:11, “And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.” We want other sinners to be washed in the blood of Jesus, sanctified and justified in the name of Christ as well.

That’s the “Love the sinner” part. Jesus loved the sinner, but He called out sin all the time, usually followed with a “go and sin no more!” God is holy – and since Jesus IS God, He cannot reside where there is unholiness.

Unrepentant sin – is unholy..

I know people who are living together as husband and wife, without the benefit of marriage, as ordained by God. That’s unholy.

If they came to me and asked that I conduct the marriage ceremony, I would decline to do it, until such time that both parties repented of the sin, and to show it, agree to be separated for a period of three to six months – then, I’d do it, as true repentance has been shown. Am I being unreasonable? No, because I answer to a holy God, not to man.

I know, and am even related to people who practice homosexuality. Do I hate these people? Absolutely not! Will I conduct a civil union or marriage ceremony for them? Absolutely not! Homosexuality and transgenderism is a direct violation of scripture and is clear sin. The continued practice of this is unrepentant sin, for which God abhors.

Again, I want to see that person give up that lifestyle, repent of it, and come to the salvation of Christ. It’s a lifestyle and a choice – people aren’t “born gay” – God made two genders, male and female (not 57 varieties like Heintz ketchup), to fit together, for the purpose of “going forth and [to] multiply.” Two men or two women cannot reproduce to make a new life – only one man, and one woman can do this, and is to be done in the stable family unit of a committed marriage.

Am I being unreasonable by denying a marriage ceremony to homosexuals or supposed “transgendered” individuals? Absolutely not! Again, I answer to God, not man.

If there ever a law were passed attempting to force me to do them, I’d say, “take me to jail, I won’t do it, nor allow it in my church”

Am I being unreasonable to deny employment, even in a volunteer position within the church to homosexuals, transgendered or even those living together in sin? Nope – because this just gives Satan just enough a crack to get himself in, and once in, sin will permeate. It must be kept out at all costs.

Yet you have many major denominations ordaining homosexual clergy, directly violating 1 Timothy chapter 3 and Titus chapter 1, where Paul is instructing on the makeup of church leadership. In all cases, leaders are to be the husband of one wife – the male husband of a female wife – the God-ordained marriage.

You have some local pastors whose wife is sitting in the first pew, but his mistress is sitting not too far down from her. The elders may or may not be aware of it – and if they are, they’re giving a wink and a nod to this garbage. It must be purged from the church.

You have the pope of the Roman Church, openly giving his blessing to these lifestyles! It’s no wonder that church, supposedly founded by Simon Peter, has decreasing membership. With leadership like this, God’s gotta be mighty ticked off.

Add to this, the praying to Mary and other so-called “saints” – I’m surprised that God hasn’t taken out his vengeance out on this church thus far!

You have so-called leaders like Rick Warren, and the pope, calling for unity between vastly different faiths, such as the unity between Islam and Christianity. There can be no unity here – our doctrines are diametrically opposed to each other. Rick Warren’s “Christlam” is nothing more than bringing the great Satan of Islam into the church.

If this is the “Purpose Driven” church or life – count me out. I want to see every Mohammadan saved – but never at the expense of the Christian doctrine.

As with any culture – outsiders (the unsaved) who want to become insiders (saved through the blood of Christ) must acclimate to His ways, Christ and the church don’t acclimate to another faith’s ways. It’s that simple.

Let me ask you, does Satan fear you? if there was a meeting of his minions, would the consensus be, “there’s nothing there – he can’t hurt us, there’s no real belief or faith there,” or would the consensus be “this guy’s willing to die for Christ and he’s willing to proclaim Christ proudly – he’s a major threat that needs to be taken out!”

You need to feared by Satan! You need to fearlessly proclaim the Gospel of Christ, and no other! I’m not here to be liked, I’m here for one purpose and one purpose alone – to proclaim the Gospel and get people saved by Christ’s blood. I’m not here to to be liked or admired or to get into what might or might not be truth, except the truth of the Gospel.

And yes, by calling out sin, I’m proclaiming truth, in hopes that the receiver of the rebuke changes their behavior. If I had the chance, I would rebuke Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi and a joint session of Congress publicly and to their faces for the error in their behavior and beliefs. You cannot call yourself a “Christian” – which many of them do – and support or even advance the sinful lifestyles that they advocate.

No, I’m not afraid of Satan, but he’s definitely afraid of me – which is why he’s wreaking havoc over me and my family. Without going into details, we’re going through hell here, God’s allowing it, to make us even stronger against Satan’s fiery darts.

Jeannie jokes with me that “they’re gonna come for you first,” because I’m not only a devoted Christian, but also a birthright Jew – a double threat. It’s probably true, only they’re gonna come for both of us, because we’re both committed Christians, willing to die in the name of Christ. That fact alone gives Satan a big case of heartburn. May he choke on his gastric juices over that fact – and may he quake in his shoes over the fact that we will not deny our Lord.

In Acts chapter 19, we find Paul performing miracles on the physically and spiritually sick – so much so that people brought articles of clothing of the sick to Paul so that the owners could be healed. The priests started to make attempts to heal by exorcism saying, starting in chapter 19, verse 11:

Now God worked unusual miracles by the hands of Paul, so that even handkerchiefs or aprons were brought from his body to the sick, and the diseases left them and the evil spirits went out of them. Then some of the itinerant Jewish exorcists took it upon themselves to call the name of the Lord Jesus over those who had evil spirits, saying, “We exorcise you by the Jesus whom Paul preaches.” Also there were seven sons of Sceva, a Jewish chief priest, who did so. And the evil spirit answered and said, “Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are you?” (Acts 19:11-15)

Notice that the demon knew who Jesus was, and who Paul was, but they didn’t know, nor did they fear the priests.

Do the demons know who you are? Do they fear you? If not, then you’re not effective for Christ and you might well start examining your commitment to Him.

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, when you became saved by the blood of Christ, you enlisted in His army. Just like a national army, you must willing to be persecuted, and even be willing to die for the cause of Christ.

And that’s my warning to the Western church. You will be coerced into changing, don’t do it. European and Canadian churches are experiencing governmental intrusion now, and it’s only a matter of time before American churches are affected.

Mask mandates are only the beginning – that’s “conditioning” by authorities to get pastors conforming to man’s law.

Let’s get it right church! Who do you follow?

(Yes, protect the flock, but when government intrusion is blatant and starts interfering with the church’s mission, you must decide whose side you’re going to fight – God’s or man’s)

Sing praise and worship that mentions Jesus by name – not a generic “him” or “he” – you could be singing to anyone, even Satan himself, and not even know it. We sing praises to Jesus, and we worship our creator, Yahweh, as His created beings.

If you’re gonna “name it and claim it,” – forget prosperity, Name Jesus, and claim Jesus in your praise and worship. It’s all about Jesus – it’s not about you.

Never assume what a generic “he” and “him” means that to the singer. Satan flees at the name of Jesus!

Make Satan afraid – very afraid of you. Make him fear your testimony for Christ. Lukewarm, milquetoast Christians are not a good testimony, and if you fall into this group, you’re timid – and Christ doesn’t need timid Christians in His army.

Remember what happens to the church at Laodicea in Revelation 3. That lukewarm church was spit out by Christ as not being hot or cold. You don’t even want to be part of that church.

Here, in this church, we’re on fire for Christ.

If that fire in you has diminished into embers, or is in danger of being snuffed out, I hope that this message struck a spark that got that fire started again. Get on your knees, repent, and ask the Lord to get that fire burning hot again.

Do it now, tomorrow isn’t promised.

Now, go and serve your King.
